Ari Armstrong's Web Log
Welcome
Welcome to Ari Armstrong's Web Log about politics and culture. Join my email list. I advocate reason (as opposed to faith and irrationalism), reality (as opposed to supernaturalism and nihilism), and rights (as opposed to authoritarianism and lawlessness). I'm for liberalism broadly conceived and against tribalism, theocracy, socialism, fascism, racism, and Trumpism. I aim to tell you what you need to hear, not necessarily what you want to hear. Witness at Sand Creek: Silas Soule Letters Recount a Massacre
As for himself, Soule wrote, "I refused to fire and swore that none but a coward would." None of the men under his command fired. Unfortunately, the cowards ran amuck that day and perpetrated one of the most notorious massacres in American history.
